Fishing for White tuna goes back several centuries, when the vessels from Cantabrian harbours set out to sea using small boats with oars and sails, fishing using the trolling or cacea methods: traditional arts using the rod and hook.
The white tuna are fished one by one, allowing the selection of the highest-quality specimens and avoiding accidentally catching other species, which contributes to sustainable fishing.
