Strawberry salmorejo with white tuna belly

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of white tuna belly
  • 1 kg of strawberries
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ kg of ripe red tomatoes
  • 2 pieces of stale bread
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Hard-boiled egg

Preparation

  • 01To make the salmorejo, first cut the bread into small pieces. Crush the garlic and red pepper with the tomato and strawberries and, as a paste forms, add the pieces of bread. Lastly, add a splash of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt to taste.
  • 02The make the strawberry salmorejo smooth, you can blend it in a mixer and then pass it through a sieve to remove the lumps.
  • 03Decorate the dish with a centre of white tuna belly, chopped hard-boiled egg and a few drops of balsamic vinegar and serve the strawberry salmorejo.
